Whisky
Whisky
Whisky or whiskey is the generic name for a group of spirits made by distillation of malted or unmalted cereals. The origin of whiskey is still today subject to controversy between Scots and Irish, each one going for its oldest proof. Later, whisky was exported to the New World (especially to the United States and Canada). Since the beginning of the 20th century, distilleries have been developed in Japan, and more recently in the rest of the world.
