Habanos Cigars

Habanos SA was established in 1994 under the brand name Habanos Sociedad Anomina. In 1996, it took over the commercial (sales) responsibilities of Cubatabaco. In 2000, the French / Spanish company Altadis SA bought a 50% share of Habanos SA. In 2007 British Imperial Tobacco bought 100% of Altadis SA.
