Cigars Quai D'Orsay

It should be noted that for years, only Casa del Habano franchisees were allowed to sell Quai D'Orsay cigars. Casa del Habano is a chain of stores attached to Cubatabaco. The latter was dissolved in 1994 to allow the creation of Habanos S.A. , which is now in charge of developing Casa del Habano. Today, several retailers have been authorized to offer Quai d'Orsay cigars for sale. Although these top-of-the-range cigars meet the requirements of the French market, they are very quickly sought after in Germany as well as in several European countries.

The specificities
Let there be no mistake. It is true that this is a French brand. However, the vitolas are entirely made in Cuba. Their tobaccos are hand-rolled and come from the Cuban region of Vuelta Abajo in the province of Pinar del Rey. It is for this reason that Quai D'Orsay cigars can be qualified as puros. They are light, so light that they are in the list of Habanos to be advised to beginners. The wrapper of these long filler cigars has either a claro (extremely light brown) or a colorado claro (golden brown) color. As a whole, the vitolas release a fairly pronounced woody aroma. Originally, the creations are based on 4 modules, two of which are among the best known (panatelas, grand corona) and two lesser known (coronas Claro, Imperiales). In 2012, the brand Quai D'Orsay unveils a creation exclusive to France and in limited edition, the Robusto Embajador, constituting in passing the opportunity for her to launch in the Robusto module. To enjoy the best of these cigars, we let them age a few years in their box.
