Cigars Trinidad
Cigars Trinidad
Trinidad is a brand of Cuban cigars classified at the top (alto) of the pyramid of the brands according to the company Habanos S.A. which markets it.
The brand Trinidad was created in 1969. It is named after one of the three historical cities of the island of Cuba. Like its counterpart Cohiba, it is not intended for commercialization and its range includes only one module, called Fundadores (large panatela).
It then serves as a promotional brand, mainly through diplomatic gifts.
It was only in 1997 that the brand was commercialized, without losing its character as a brand primarily intended for diplomatic gifts. At present, however, it represents only 0.2% of the annual production of Cuban cigars, which explains its low level of recognition.
