Cigars Camacho
Cigars Camacho
Cigars Camacho finds their origins in the roots of their creator: Simon Camacho native of Cuba.
Founded in 1961, the brand was first established in Florida, where the Cuban community was well established. During this period, a large part of the tobacco came from Nicaragua. With a good quality of production and particular flavors, the brand of cigars was successfully established on the American and international market.
Five years after the death of the founder Simon Camacho (1990), the brand was sold to the family Eiroa, a large Cuban family exiled since the revolution. The family Eiroa, great tobacco and cigar producers for generations, transferred the tobacco production from Nicaragua to Honduras. Thanks to their hard work and the quality of their production, the brand Camacho became one of the most famous brands in the United States in the 2000s. The Oettinger Group, owner of many brands including Davidoff, acquired Camacho in 2008. However, the fields are still owned by the family Eiroa.
