Cigars MUWAT

The MUWAT cigar story began during the final consumer product blending session at the Joya de Nicaragua factory in late 2010 during a Cigar Safari tour.

After conducting blending sessions over the previous 3 years at the Drew Estate plant, we were optimized to extend the concept to JDN. I worked with the JDN team using DE tobaccos, including a San Andreas Negro wrapper, Ecuadorian Connecticut subcape, and Brazilian Mata Fina tripe, combined with Nicaraguan tripe provided by JDN.

The blend turned out to be rich and earthy, with a bright and sweet undertone. As the months went by, I felt this blend was very noble in the 6×60 size and called this cigar "MUWAT". We all had a good laugh about the name, but when I went back to their factory to pick up the 50 or so sticks, the brand "MUWAT" was officially born.
