Bellas Artes de AJ Fernandez Cigars
AJ Fernandez Bellas Artes cigars have a blend that could not be more “personal” as the specifics are so particular. First of all, and certainly one of the keys to this cigar, is a very unique wrapper developed and created by AJ Fernandez himself. Its name is “Rojita”, it is a hybrid composed of 50% Connecticut (US), 25% Corojo 99 and 25% Habano 2000. Then comes a Quilali (Nicaragua) wrapper, and a tripe composed mainly of Nicaraguan tobacco, but also with a touch of Honduran and Brazilian tobacco.
A very complicated exercise in order to take full advantage of this “home-made” wrapper and thus obtain a remarkably balanced cigar.
This is a very accomplished cigar. This “revisited” Connecticut wrapper (no bitterness) brings finesse and delicacy to a blend that is very aromatic, complex, powerful and spicy. A beautiful moment without a doubt.
