Davidoff cigars

Davidoff is a Swiss tobacco company that mainly manufactures and markets cigars, pipe tobacco blends, smokers' accessories and luxury products (perfumes, leather goods, writing instruments, watches, eyewear, coffee, cognac).

Zino Davidoff brought the passion for cigars to Europe, invented cigar humidors, he has made his little civet in Geneva the center of Cuban cigars in Europe.

At the end of the war, Zino Davidoff suggested to the Cubans that they launch a range of cigars, associating the names of Bordeaux Grands Crûs with Havana cigars. Under the production of the Hoyo de Monterrey factory, the "Châteaux" range was born. This is how Château Lafite, Château Latour, Château d'Yquem, Château Haut-Brion and Château Mouton Rotschild became legendary Davidoff cigars.

Following this collaboration with the Cubans, the latter suggested that Zino Davidoff create his own cigars. Thus were born Davidoff N°1, N°2 and l'Ambassadrice. This was followed by the 1000, 2000, 3000, 4000 and 5000 series.

Today, Davidoff cigars are produced in the Dominican Republic, but always in the same spirit of perfection, to perpetuate the legend of this man who wrote the history of cigars in Europe.
