Cigars Flor De Selva
Cigars Flor De Selva
Today, Honduras has two great cigar terroirs: "Copan" around Santa Rosa de Copan and "el Paraiso" around Danli. Maya Selva created the brand Flor de Selva in 1995 and introduced the Honduran terroir to France where, unlike Germany, it was almost unknown.
It then introduces cigar lovers to its cigars, whoseorganoleptic register seems to be halfway between Dominican sweetness and Cuban power. They are easy to smoke, aromatic without being anaesthetic. Flor de Selva employs 3000 people.
A statistical calculation has estimated that a tobacco leaf, before the box is put on sale, passes through 370 pairs of hands. It is impossible to replace the touch and the eye of those who select and mix the leaves; their rigor ensures the subtlety of the blends. A magical moment when each module acquires its personality.
